* Summary :)

1. Touch the cheese whether the cheese is staind or not.

2. Cut the cheese using cheese nives.

3. Slide the glace. The first part is cutted cheese and last part is almost milks.

4. Seperate liquid , milk and cheese. The most imfortant thing is temporater at 102 degree.

5. Transefer another filter. After 4 hours 11minutes 23seconds, we finally has sample cheese.

6. Crush the lumped cheese with the hands.

7. For a long time, shake the cheese and add the salt.

* My Opinion :)

It too hard to make cheese. However, If I make cheese by myself, It's so unsual experience. Additionally, it will be better delicious cheese than others. In my country, I often eat cheese, but I eat cheese more while I live in the U.S. I was so suprized when I see the various cheese in the refrigerator at markets. I also like cheese and like to make some food with cheese. I think that American usually like to eat food contained cheese such as hamburgeres, sandwiches and pizzas. If I eat a lot of cheese, I will be a obesity person. Moreover, I will get high cholesterol and be cause a serious problem like a heart attack. If I control to eat cheese, I could get a great nutriment. After I saw the video, I want to make the cheese by myself.

- Crush (Verb) : To crush something means to press it very hard so that its shape is destroyed or so that it breakts into pieces.

Long term memory is a giant store like a file in computers.

There is two types memory.

1. Procedural memory is a doing something such as baking a cake.

2. Declarative memory is episodic memory from a album to memory.

- Episodic memory : recall pesonal experiences from past.

- Semantic memory : sotores factsand organized information. It contains rules.



B) 4 Ways to help long term retrieval.




* Summary

1. Repeat, recite, review : First, the teacher and students say together. Then, they say by their selves. They can remember that by the repeat.

2. Distribution practice: The part is that divide whole part, so we will know that in order.

3. Serial - positions effect : The part helps to remember continually.

4. Similarities & Differences : It's better to remember somethings when we copare and contrast than before.



* Opinions

These video are helpful to remember because It can be applied from my situations. I also use the ways to remember taking lessons. I think, it should be training several times, it does not learn just one time. Then, I agree that the episodic memory is useful than others. Pesonal experiences are usually linger long in our life. If I was fece new things, it's hard to remember that. However, If I recall and relate old things with new things, it will be combined each other, so we could remember easily. My own notetaking practice is not special which is simillar with 4 ways to help long term retrieval. I like to sit front of a plafform because I could contrate much. Also I like to ask something what I didn't understand after class. After that, I take a memo, and I try to fine the fact in my home. This way is help to remember for a long time, so I can recall the memory when I take a test about that.

Week 5 - Task 2 : Movie

"Winner Winner Chicken Denner!"

This movie is the MIT student story who take a gambling in Vegas. Ven will graduate MIT and entrance into HARVARD who is also a genius of methmetic. The miki proffesor want to him for enterning his black jack team. Ven needs to $30million to enter HARVARD, so he can't reject his proposal. The Miki knows the bline of black jack who is a reader of the team. He selects genuis in MIT. Also, he train the people for wining games which is the seceret records and counting skills. The skills can predict the card which receive next time and predict their the percentage of victories. Moreover, they disguise themselves and make a fake ID. On every weekend, they learn a lot of money from black jack game. However, one casino's worker who controls the card counting skill, senses thiers skill, so he checks a vedio that record a face. At next times, Ven is arrested by worker in the casino and was striken, and gets a deal with the worker. He cheats Miki because the professor also cheats him about money. Miki acually doesn't do anything, and he just gets a money for his students. Finally, Vet brings Miki to casino worker, and he will not play black jack again.



* My opinion :D


Ven gets a lot of money and enjoys the driking from games, but he actually doesn't get happiness. When he lost a lot of money for an entrance fee, he lost his friends also because he forgets a lot of promises with friends, so they will fail the contest. They were one team with Ven, but they don't want to join with him. Finally, when Ven come back school, his friends attend the lobots contest and get a prize without him. Also, he realizes about money. When he gets tens of thousands dollars, he can buy many things such as a expansive shoes, bags and neck ling for his girlfriend. However, he finally lose important thins than before. I also want to get a lot of money from lotteries of games. It's cearlly true that money is necessary to live and to enjoy, but it is not the whole to me and it will sometimes be sweet posion, so I realize that I have to keep the most imfortant things such as family and friends. I like to learn something through a seeing movies.

Obama wanted to contrast and conprehesiveable relationship with china. He thought that the contrast is imfortant relationship and vote to the china trade dialogue. This trade can learn the new things from old people. The U.S. invested to China. John is a productor to relate U.S. and China. The two nations' condition will demonstrated by each other's helping. Obama said the trade which is the simbol that make a world shape continuedly and the Boston and Bazing will be the most impotant city.


This goal is that ficnancal work make creatively, and the U.S. will rise up saving rates and China will be spend a lot of money, so two country can put growth sustainable foundations. He asserted that the clean power can avoid the warming grobal. The China will be enormous to get a market for a goods. He predicted that trade will shape at 24 centry and more imfortant as any relationship. The partnership is responsibility together, and economy will be more extreme popular. Also, the trade can share the mutral interset to recovered economy. The NY, Seattle and shaghai will get corportions deeply and agreements ambitiously.


Second, He worried about the clean energy in the futher. The gas make chaging climate, so we have to trasfer energys for economy. At these days, almost works increas to open the market and make new idea and source to make new energy.

* My opinion


Many nation want to make relationship to develop together. I think that a kind of trade will be imfortant in the futher because one nation's abilites are limited, so we have to try to get a relationship. Obama prefers to get new things for U.S. I also get the same opinion with him. The American usually spend a lot of money, so they have to try to save thiers. Otherwise, the Chinese usually don't like spend money than saving money. Therefore, the U.S try to make interest, the China circulate thier money to get a due balaces. The U.S and China are most strong nation in the world. If two nation get a relation for economy and enviroment, it will be great things to each other and the world.

In 1960, the Cold War and 13 miles above the Soviet Union all systems went outsides. The two spy got a mission to confirm an alarming tip. Which was the shortest route from Russia to the United States. The U-2's carmeras were technology, but the key to the U-2's success was the pilot's ability to find and photograph the best targets. The U-2's pilot was Francis Gary Powers. However, the US in a very bad position. They couldn't fly over the Soviet Union. Launch complex 5/6 at Florida's Cape Canaveral is a monument to the early days of space exploration. NASA special agent Dann Oakland, in December, 2004, was called over to the old blockhouse to help solve a problem. There was no lights and they started looking around. Buried back in the corner was a blue box. In the box Dann found someting extraordinary. There was one that was 007 and then 008. For James Bamford, and author and investigative repoter that name, "Lawyer". Lawyer's name was on a list of 17 pilots who were chosen for the program. Some of the pilots Bamford found became space shuttle astrunauts. The president Reagan's Star Wars program; General Robert Herres would become Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The story begins in Jan, 1964, with a new group of America's best military pilots arriving at Edwardes Air Force program called ARPS, the Aerospace Research Pilot School. They actually didn't know a soul. They would teach you astronomy and flight mechanics, orbital mechanics which related bodies that are in orbit. President Lyndon Johnson announced the program and gave it a cover story. This program will bring us new knowledge about what man is able to do in space.

In the past, there is some occasions to send spies to another nation. Soviet and America are intereted in the astronomy. However, I think that our nation is not interested than others. This is a miserable condition to me, but spies cause some problem in many parts and it will also get another problems. This big happening like this situation shows their big comsideration about universe. It is a completly true fact there is more new knowledge in universe than we expected that, so I think that we have to try to fine out the knowlege as soon as possible. We also have the duty about environment that is created by God, so we should live together and protect them and develop them.

Mars is the best hope for resolving the ultimate mystery of creation. We are not alone who live in the earth. Mars enough likes Earth and called the "Second Genesis". There are robots in Mars which are orbiting three satellites and landers. Mars is a busy place to fine secrets and wealth of clues. Peter Snith has seven mission to Mars. In 1999 The Mars Polar Lander is to touch down on the surface, but it didn't come a signal at all. His next mission is Phoenix that finally arrived in Mars. NASA and Phoenix sharing supervision of the mission with scientists. Phoenix has landed that is the 39th times tried to reach Mars. The first attempt is the Soviets during the 1960s. When scientists get a first data that is the sense of astomishment and Mars is just barren desert.

These are ingredients for life : Three things to begin. One is an energy souce like heat. Two are organics. Third is scarce in our solar system. However, most important thing is liquid water. In the past there is some article in newspapers. "Mars was dead," quote. NASA has been explorated "follow the water." The is the most important first things. In 2004, NASA put wheels on the ground. They could see signs of water. Most of the rock on Mars is volcanis stones that thet were laid down in liquid water. The place was found on underground. Mars also have holes that is cleanly rated hole. The rock is 40 percent sulfate salt, and water was produced by rocks.

I would like to know about another planet which contains the Mars, so I chose this topic. I'm usually wondering about that "Can I live in another planet?" According to the vedio, I got some informations. If I get a chance to live in the Mars, I actually don't want to that. However, It is good news which is found by examination in the future. I think people will exhaust a natural resources and land also. Therefore, perhaps we have to fine alternative energy and another place. I mean, we should pay attation like this article and video.

Hi. Everyone! :)

My name is Nam Eui Lee. You can call me "JUDY". I was born on 1985 and my hometowm is Seoul City in Korea. I have parents, old brother and youger sister.

I'm a senior and leave one semaster of my university in Korea. My major is a Korea Language Education, so I like to study about Korea Language. I am going to go back to Korea this August to graduate my university. If I graduate in this winter, I will take the examination for the license of school teachers. To be a high school or middle school teacher I have to take this test which contains English skill, so the reason why I came here is improve my English skill.



I'm attending Seattel Central Community College now. I want to be a native speaker with English that is my goal. I like a hang around and talk with my friends, so they usually say that I look like a comedian who usually say loudly, quickly and funny about all of the somethigs.
